Cottage & Cauldron
We pride ourselves on curating a collection of goods that will help not only enhance your craft, but also make your entire home (and life) a little more magical.
We strive to offer products that are unique, artisanal, handcrafted, ethically made, and of course, weird, whimsical, and/or witchy. Anything we don't create in-house, we source from other small businesses; we work with women-owned or minority-owned small businesses that cannot be found on any of the major online retailers - C&C prefers to align with businesses that also do social good and support causes we also believe in. (You will see notes in the Product Info section of any product indicating who the maker is, what kind of business it is, as well as the causes they may support and donate to).
Cottage & Cauldron is a minority-owned (LGBTQ) and woman-owned business. There are many causes we are each individually passionate about, but we (the company) aims to use only the most sustainable packaging and reduce plastic in our products and packaging.
There is no Planet B.
Furthermore, C&C strongly condemns all forms of racism and we recognize that we benefit from white privilege. We will continue to educate ourselves and our children and do what we can to help change systematic racism and oppression.
"If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor."
~ Desmond Tutu
Owner and Founder of Cottage & Cauldron, Laura has always been interested in things that are typically considered "taboo" and has always felt "different" than most everyone else. Discovering paganism and witchcraft after growing up Catholic-Episcopalian was what really helped her find herself and start feeling and living unapologetically authentic. Prior to founding Cottage & Cauldron, she spent many years as an Academic Librarian and also previously pursued professional careers as an actor-singer (theater, film, and voice-over) and dog trainer. In addition to the causes that Cottage & Cauldron supports, she is passionate about diversity and representation in literature (especially children's literature).
You are magic.
You are the Universe.
Every moment is a miracle.
Manifest your destiny.
